Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about scheduling, fees, and what to expect from your concussion evaluation and rehab plan.
FAQ 1 — Do I need a referral? No. You can book directly. If you’re working with an AT/PCP, we can coordinate and send updates with consent.
FAQ 3 — Who is this program for? Students, athletes, and adults with symptoms that aren’t resolving as expected—especially if screens, reading, motion, or activity trigger symptoms.
FAQ 5 — Do you bill insurance? No. This is a cash-based program and we do not bill insurance for it. Itemized receipts are available upon request.
FAQ 7 — What if my concussion was months ago? Often we can still help. Persistent symptoms commonly involve treatable contributors (neck, vestibular/visual, exertional tolerance), and your exam guides the next steps.
FAQ 2 — How long is the evaluation? The initial Concussion Evaluation is 60–75 minutes so we can assess key domains and map out a plan.
FAQ 4 — What does it cost? - Evaluation: $200 (60–75 min) - Follow-ups: $150 (45 min) - 8-Visit Program: $1,000 ($125/visit) We’ll recommend the right plan after your evaluation based on findings and goals.
FAQ 6 — Can you help with return-to-learn and return-to-play? Yes—by guiding symptom-based progression and communicating as needed. Final clearance policies depend on your school/sport and medical oversight.
FAQ 8 — What should I do before my visit? Bring any prior notes if you have them and write down your top triggers (screens, reading, exertion, driving, busy environments). Arrive hydrated and avoid a hard workout right before.
